For all the 64 bit people - Please extract the contents of the MSI using a tool like LessMsi

This does not work on a 64 bit PC Workaround: - install it on a 32bit PC - copy the files over to the 64bit PC This whole experience should be better Adam

Here's a tip: install the samples on a 32-bit machine and copy the files to your 64-bit machine. Solving simple problems has also been mainstream in the development world for some time now...

This is useless if it will not run on a 64 bit machine. :(

I am trying to learn reporting services on an x64 server. I need an x64 version! Very frustrating!!!!!!

Why no 64-bit release? This does not make sense; 64-bit computing has been mainstream in the server world for some time now.

Same as before... It's a good release, but providing only a x86 version... :( Can we have a x64 please? Or the .zip is sufficient?

I'm running SQL Server 2008 x64 on Windows 2008 x64. Only having a x86 msi package is not very useful. When will you post an x64 version?
